On Friday, May 12, 2023, the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to the Republic of Korea, HE Mr. ILEKA ATOKI, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol.

To celebrate this event, His Excellency ILEKA ATOKI and his wife Françoise NZAMU invited, among their guests, DECOC to a dinner at Grand HYATT Hotel on the same Friday, May 12 at 5:30 p.m.

The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem followed by the ambassador’s speech in which he expressed his gratitude for our presence and promised to work closely with the Congolese community. Then, the presidents of two DECOC offices gave a speech which resulted in the delivery of a certificate of honor and merit to the ambassador. The buffet was opened afterwards. It was a great evening and DECOC was proudly represented.
