The Women’s Department of DECOC is delighted to announce the hosting of its 2nd Conference for International Women’s Day 2024, which will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the Light and Sound Art Hall.

Main theme: “Empowering Women to Inspire Inclusion” (inspired by the IWD 2024 theme defined by the United Nations).

Discussions will be focused on empowering women by providing them with the necessary means to become inspiring agents of inclusion, with a particular emphasis on women’s rights in Africa and around the world.

We are also pleased to announce the inclusion of unprecedented cultural events within the program. This will provide a unique space for socio-cultural exchanges among diverse communities representing different African states and other continents currently present in South Korea.

Note: The conference is open to everyone, regardless of gender.
